After flying the Fw 190, Grumman test pilot Robert Hall wrote a report directed to President Leroy Grumman, who then personally laid out the specifications for Design 58, the successor to the Hellcat. Design 58 closely emulated the design philosophy of the German fighter, although no part of the Fw 190 was copied. The F8F Bearcat stemmed from Design 58

ido have some ww2 aircraft,its just that i can't get the shot right,i even know what aircraft.
but i will keep trying.

well it ended up being a different aircraft,i wanted to do the seafire but it just wouldn't work,so i used an old fs9 mustang.

Still Alive
Time to take this puppy out on the course for some more practice.  I wanna look good on my first race.  Weather, very stormy with major clouding and a major thunderstorm with lots of air to ground lighting on its way.  Perfect.  Just what I need to practice.
I wonder if the ATC can help with the racing stuff in any way.
Perfect!  The airspace is clear for multiple hours, and the current controller is actually the one who works during the races!  And he actually agreed to do the stuff like he would during races like keep track of my times!
Lets get to work.
"Mustang 1, airspace is clear, cleared for takeoff, runway 8, over"
"Mustang 1, cleared for takeoff, out"
"Alright, climb for altitude and get ready for the start, out"
