The aircraft is the deHavilland DHC-5 Buffalo of the Canadian Air Force flying north of Banff, Canada. It is a free download for FSX.
The background is also FSX default.

as ive said before, the number of shots may have decreased in recent times, but the quality appears to have increased!! plus i see some new faces here in the JC contest!!

We might have time for one more. It would be rather close to Christmas with those traveling, but it also might make a great stocking stuffer
