After seeing so many of our talented SimV members take up the challenge of repainting, we thought what better way to show off those talents and skills, than by running a SimV Livery Contest.

This will be the second installment of this contest, the first being held back in 2007,

Time to get those paint brushes flowing SimV, can't wait to see what you come up with. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Thanks. I thought about a lower bare metal half, but don't really know how how to approach it. I do know about Alpha channels and the like but I think the blue should be alright, more appropriate to SimV.

I like what you've done with the layout, interesting choice of aircraft too. The bright colours should help it stand out at airports.

Wow, where is everyone that posted before? There are some really nice paints so far and I know there are even more great ones that haven't been posted yet. I wish I could do repaints.

Yes, post a general shot of the livery in this thread. Try to show off most of the paint, if possible. i.e side-view shot or front 3/4 view.

I decided to scrap that 747 repaint and restart using Project Airbus's A319.
