Wasn't sure where to post this... but post up links to plug-ins that you use for Photoshop.

I'll start with a link that has many links to quality plug-ins;

Several of the plug-ins I use are on that list.

Thanks for posting these Rob, Used to use a few of them a couple of years ago, but bought the Alien Skin Exposure 2 package and you can get some excellent effects etc with that too.

Most of them will also work in IrfanView.

Some of these are very good. http://www.xero-graphics.co.uk/freeware.htm

I've never used Photoshop plug-ins, so here's my nooby question:
How do you use them?
Say I've installed one, will it be added to a menu or what?

Pretty simple to install. Some have self installers which are self-explanatory. For the others installing them is no more than finding where your Photoshop files are. For example,

C:-Program files-Abobe-Photoshop 7

Once in the main photoshop folder, you will see another folder named plug-ins. From the files you unzipped (the actual plug-ins), just put them in this folder. If Photoshop is open, close and restart it. The plug-ins should now be in your filters list.

Using them is really no different then using the standard filters and effects. Just play with them to see what they all do!

I see.
I'll check out some of the plugins you've suggested later.
