patchz' who am I....

Postby patchz » Mon Jun 15, 2009 12:05 am

I was born in Atlanta in 1949.
My name was changed in 1979, 1986, and 2008.
I have flown DC-3s, Martin 404s, Fairchild Metro IIs,
DC-9s, Boeing 727s, Douglas MD-82s, Boeing 757s,
Convair CV-580s, Boeing 787s, Boeing 747s, Airbus A330s,
Airbus A320s, and Airbus A319s.
Who am I and what event happened in late 1972?

I have more clues, but I learned from Barb to dole them out sparingly. :)

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Well, this was way hard enough for me. I even tried to cheat with Google, but couldn't come up with anything.

Of course, there's no stopping the real aviation people here  :)
