Have a look and let's hear what you would have done to improve this pic..not a rip or a rate, just how you would have set this pic up to improve it... :)

I would have put the camera angle lower. ;)

Camera down...maybe some better scenery. I think the buildings are so awkwardly placed it's hard to focus on the plane. But that's just me.

Set the time back 15 minutes, made clouds higher, lowered camera, angled camera up, installed Fly Tampa KSAN, made Md-11 heavier and maybe used derate as MD-11 isn't STOL, made slightly more fisheye, changed livery to one that is currently flown.

Then, I would open it up in photoshop, duplicate background layer, change blending type to 'Soft Light', change opacy of layer to one that looks good. Unsharp mask with radius 50, amount to one that looks good. Unsharp mask, radius 1, amount to one that looks good. Lensflare, 42% 35mm then 105mm. Diffuse glow (light yellow) to one that looks good (and it must wash out the starburst effect from adding lensflare). More Lensflare, 42% 35mm then 105mm. Image, adjustments match color, luminance to one that looks good, color intensity to 105%.  Image, adjustments match color, neutralise. Edit, fade match color, opacy 15%.

What would make this shot so much better in my view is some clear space between the aircraft and the buildings....so camera angle lower or plane higher/at a less steep angle :)

The result of my suggestions should make it look like this, only with an MD-11 at KSAN....

On closer inspection, looks like I forgot to turn AI back on.  ::) Whoops.
