SCREENART WARS - THE ENTRIES, ROUND 1

Out of 14 entries, I have recieved 13 and decided to push on without the final entry - otherwise this round would keep dragging on.

Due to Jayhawk Jake not having been around to confirm judging, the judging panel now stands:

Mab_08
Krigl
Myself (cspyro21)

Below are the entries! (click entrant's name to see their entry)

Clipper
VS
Mictheslik

Ashar
VS
Mees

Jet Ranger
VS
A1

Double Farvel
VS
Cloud9

Souichiro
VS
Aussiewannabe

MrJake2002
VS
Waspiflab - Disqualified; no entry!

PD87
VS
Spitfire Boy

NOTE: After the judges have selected the winning entries, I will select an entry from those that did not win and whichever screenshot is selected, the screenartist will go on to fight in the next round. The shot will be selected based on the screenshot itself, not if "I like this guy better than this guy", e.g. what's the lighting like, is there an interesting variety of colours etc. The screenshot selected will equal the numbers to eight for Round 2.

As soon as the judging is complete, Round Two will begin!

Good luck to all entrants!

Great entries!

My personal favorite is Jet Ranger's B-52 shot. Boy, that bring back memories when I was stationed at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota, USA.

Likewise, my friend. I dont envy the judges their responsibilities. Good luck 8-)

BTW, I was going to ask this earlier... I dont see why the contest would "crumble" and have to be ended on account of one artist who never entered a shot? How exactly would that devastate the contest? The other opponent wins by default, and goes on to the next round... Dont worry, Im not wondering because I plan on flaking out on the contest or something, just curious.. :-/ ::) ;)

Well PD87, in theory then yes, the contest should go on as normal, but when you've put many hours into something like this, ask people for commitment, they say "yea sure" etc and don't enter a shot is quite annoying. Once is bad enough, but like what happened last time when Clipper ran it - in Round Two, out of 14 or so entries I think he recieved asbout three - VERY annoying and quite disheartening.
