Mmm, nice angle on the plane. Never seen those engines on a 742 before, what kind are they?

Now, time to annihalate your self esteem break down the shot...

     1. I don't like the opaqueness of the cloudscape beneath the aircraft, as it makes it hard to tell what the landmarks on the ground are, and it gives the scene a sort of "fog blandness." What I mean is, that stuff looks like fog, but does not do what fog is supposed to do. Besides, you are a much too high to be seeing fog as a sight inconveniance, you should see it like you would any other cloud. I would have preferred a clear view, but that's me, and I'm picky. ;)

      2. A few more cirrus clouds might not have hurt, but you don't have control over where the clouds show up, so that is not on your case.

      3. The plane is beautiful, and actually helps the pic out a lot, drawing your eyes away from the foggy cloudscape below.

Conclusion: Cloudscape could have been better, but the plane helps this shot a lot.

Good capture there! :)

I really like the pic but.....clouds need a bit more spread to them. They seem grouped and placed, with somewhat hard, unnatural edges. The sky color is great, the livery is clean and blends well. Problem is the attitude or pitch of the aircraft is off a bit. Hard to pinpoint why, maybe the nose down attitude when you'd expect to see straight and level at this cruising altitude. Otherwise solid pic, maybe a tad closer to the aircraft might work too..... :)

Those are GE-CF6 engines...I like the shot just the way it is...Simple and nice ;)

EDIT: Ooops...Mees already answered that...

It's a lovely shot - can't fault it myself. The livery matches and complements the light and airy surroundings very well. The clouds themselves don't look totally realistic, due to reasons mentioned, so if you wanted total realism the picture falls short. But realism is often IMHO overrated - it looks like a very nice picture from flight simulator.
