I decided to give a go at attempting a logo for the flying club.

Its not much but I can do a better one if needed, this was jsut a quick whip up.

I am a Sales and Marketing Manager and deal with a lot of concepts like this.
Remember that your target audience has to immediately see what it is and that it has to make a clear statement.

Overall I think it is to artsy ... and I think you should make it more to the point.

P.S. I thought Double_Farvel's logo for the flying club was the best thing I've seen so far.
Only the the flying club characters could be more italic so that the alighn with the Simviation characters

Yes, I also had to look around even to find the S in Simviation. Like Harold was saying, its a bit abstract, but creative.
