Try to add sun and clouds to it a bit.  ;)

NDSP, you're really a glutton for punishment  :)

I'm starting to get the feeling you are not taking people's advice on board, and basically at this point people are going to stop replying, or run out of patience and start posting comments reflecting that.... are you really satisfied with this picture? Have you applied what people have been telling you in the making of this shot?

If you are really serious about editing and screenshooting despite having a computer that is a bit behind the times and poor editing software then to get good results you need to make sacrifices to produce a great background shot. Like Sytse says, turn up all the settings to max, use a high resolution even if you can't actually fly with the settings you are using because it's a slide show...use scenery and an interesting sky in your shot, etc, it's all been said  before. Get a good screenshot and then experiment with editing it until it looks like a good edit and then post the shot. Sorry to be harsh but I feel the advice isn't getting through and I have to say that if I see another pic of a blurred plane against a  plain sky I'm not going to comment any more....  :-?

I have worked very hard to buy all the stuff  to get my computer into decent shape just for the purpose of taking screenshots I'm happy with, because it's my main hobby in life, sad though that may be  ::) Perhaps instead of editing with paint.net you could spend time earning your way to a better comp, or at least an old version of photoshop, as you obviously are keen on editing and screenshooting but your 'tools' are holding you back. Your edit of Waspiflab's shot is my first Gallery nomination this fortnight because it's great. It's a work of art and I reckon you could get a lot of pleasure from making shots like that yourself....

Then the jaggies shouldn't be so bad. I did this composite on my old computer (P3 450 MHz, Geforce 2 64 MB), I'm sure your system is able to handle this...

The Edit - Well...I'm afraid that without Photoshop, there really is nothing you can do.
