I don't want to overload the other thread about adding smoke and fire to a shot ........ In the following shot I've used both of the tutes in
THIS thread and adapted them for a more realistic look.

I like the flames Eno, not 100% sure about the smoke though...perhaps the edges are too hard. It looks really tricky to get it right and make smoke look totally real.... I think Cobra's contrails tute when it comes will help a bit with this.

I gotta agree.... Im no professional editor myself... but i have to side with krigl on this one
The edit in general is great.... but smoke and flame must be very tricky, for ive seen so many attempts and
so many posts about how to create them

I agree with what was said earlier...the smoke is too rough...but nice effort there Eno! Smoke is really hard

Wow... The fire is nice, although for some reason it looks a little too wild, but unconcentrated at the same time.
And like said before, the smoke could use a little help. Maybe make it a little thicker. And also, what the heck happened to the back of it? It was going OK, then suddenly it looks like mud smeared on a window :P
And also, idk what, but maybe you could do something about the leaves/branches that are directly in front.

Nice effect, Eno! Some light on the wing from the flames would make it even better. ;)
