A dsate has been set for the Screenartist Seminar, this time with 9thSimplex. He's agreed to go for it on Sunday 18th March at 1700GMT and will be using the "Multi Conversation" function on MSN Messenger.

Er....Spyro, I never said I wanted to attend! I might have said I would like to attend when I get better at editing, I'm not sure now, but I didn't say I wanted to do it.....  Sorry if I gave the wrong impression somehow.

I think it will be a really good session though, and I'm envious of all those who are going to do it.

I could come but I need to know what time it will finish as I need to leave between 6PM and 6:30PM GMT time to pick up my French exchange from my school.

first of all I'd like to apologize for my absence. As some of you might know I had to move for my first real job and getting everything ligned up in the end took me a while. Sorry for letting you wait.

Now for our meeting

Krigl, just pop in mate! I plan to cover the most basic issues in editing and I hope to have a nice informative chat were we can all try this and that and instantly have a look at it to comment on it etc. I don'T think it will be bad if you have less experiences in advance and even when there are gaps, where could they closed better than there?

Yes, well, I'd love to pop in, but the second problem is that at that time I will be out with my family..... I don't know how to use MSN either. In my very humble opinion what I would appreciate is just a normal thread where tecnhniques not covered in the SSA tutorials are explained, i.e. the backlighting in that great fedex shot, and painting backgrounds or onto a plane to give it the painted look. Some kind of  'workshop' thread maybe where people could ask questions and you or other people would answer....

I hope at least some people can link up with you and that it's a success!

I have to know too how long it will take. I might have a problem with dinner, because 17.00 is 18.00 over here. And concerning MSN, what is this multi conversation function? Do I need a microphone, or are we going to type?

Here's the deal, the Seminars are postponed until we get everyone at a convenient time...let's try for next Saturday or Sunday. i'll speak to 9th and get back with more detailed info for everyone.  :)
