Problem with uploading

All of a sudden everytime I go to upload, I get 'Image is too big' when before in other threads they worked fine at the same size.

If anyone can help, then please do soon because I have ones Im dieing to upload

Check the file size of your images. The limit is 100 Kb per image. You can reduce the file size with the compression slider in IrfanView.

But I used to just be able to hit "Half" in the resize section and it would be good to go. Around 600 Pix used to work fine.

Is it just that my computer stopped wanting me to upload just as I learned how to take a good clear shot?

It makes no difference how big the shot is (as long as its no more than 800 pixels wide) but the uploads will not accept a FILE SIZE of 100KB or more.  Check the file size by right clicking the image and selecting properties.

One shot that I had "Attached", when I didnt know how to upload yet, was at 640 & 512 pixels and was at around 30000 bytes. When I take one of my newwer shots, when I take it down to 640 & 512, they stay at 960kb, so I cant upload them. How can I resize it to look as good as it did originally, but under 100k? :-?
