The Gallery Gates are once again open for your nominations of this week's finest screenies on the V!

RULES:

You can nominate anyone's shot that you like, including your own.

Please post one shot only as a clickable thumbnail (see Clipper's sticky on how to do this at the top of this forum).

The deadline for entries is now the same as for the Judge's Choice competition - 10pm GMT on Saturday night.

The winners will be posted by Monday night at the latest.

That's enough waffle,

LET'S SEE THOSE NOMINATIONS!

Your Gallery is open for business. Let's see some great submissions this week. Waspiflab and Alonso scored with two brilliant entries last week....so what can YOU come up with?

The quality that is being produced by SimV screenartists... pics, sigs and all, has progressed light years from where it was just a few months ago.

Okay guys, executive decison  ;)

It's been a 'slow week' for the Gallery Gates... so we'll roll over to next weekend. That means NO VOTING this week....

The two entries will remain for  consideration for next week, and Alonso, JeyKey, you may nominate a second shot next week! Thank you for taking the time!

Gallery Board members...  may I suggest that each of us nominates one pic each week from now on. I usually do, but this time it  was really hard to find something that 'blew me away'. In fact, I couldn't find anything  :-[

I'm not on the Gallery board Roger, but recently it seems as if SimV and screenshooting has begun to hibernate....every time I fire up the sim I feel uninspired and can't get any half-decent shots (must be this miserable winter). Hopefully in the warmer months, we'll start seeing the super quality that SimV usually produces...

I know exactly what you mean.... but the reason for it is hard to put one's finger on. People seem to be commenting less, and perhaps that's less motivating to post the best stuff one can? It is for me.... I'm spending 5 evenings on one Barret thread, and my efforts are basically ignored. Fortunately, I'm on a quest to better my PS skills, so weathering the 'storm of disinterest' pretty  well, and am fired up to complete the story - another four threads to go, I think. I'm doing my first composite shots now, lots of fun, though 'blending into the background' is something I just can't seem to get right...  ::)

Thanks for your thoughts Spyro, (relatively) old hands like us need to stick together  :)
