Hiya Fighter
How are you taking screenshots at the moment? ..... I ask as there are several different methods and everyone has their preference.
Once you have your shot you'll need to manipulate it to meet the forum rules and once again everyone has their preferences.
The simplest method (although it doesn't provide the best results) is to hit printscreen then pause the sim and paste the image into MS Paint to manipulate it. The drawbacks to this method are that you have to pause the sim, paste and manipulate the image immediately otherwise it is overwritten.
My prefered method ..... I use FSScreen by Matthias Holzer(google it, it's free!!) to take the shots, although there are plenty of other screen grab programs out there and the other members will probably furnish you with plenty of options. FSScreen allows you to take multiple images and saves them in a folder for manipulation at your leisure later. You don't have to pause the sim so there is no disruption to your flight.
For manipulating the image you'll need a better image editor than MSPaint. I think the most popular freeware editor is Infranview (google it) although you may have something already installed on your comp.
I'm sure you'll get many different methods and loads of options for software from everyone here.

Hi, I use MGRAB to take screenshots, and would use Irfanview if I didn't have photoshop :)
You don't see the screenshot after you've taken it - it just goes straight into the folder - but MGRAB makes a noise
so you know the shot was taken. You have to remember to set the max number of shots for the folder to a high number and/or
move the screenies out to other folders for storage regularly. Otherwise, you can end up copying over those great pics you got last night with something else.... and subsequently throwing your monitor out of the window in fury.
