Posted: Sat Jan 20, 2007 4:42 amdnt waste your time with paint.net i downloaded it and sent some time teinkering around in it, and its jsut a glorfied version of MS paint with not much extra.

Posted: Sat Jan 20, 2007 5:08 amNo, it's way better than paint. It's somewhere between paint and photoshop and a good alternative for people who can't afford photoshop or paint shop pro. Gimp is also freeware though, and it's better than paint.net from what I've heard...

Posted: Sat Jan 20, 2007 5:25 amok just installed gimp and first impression are that its a very impressive piece of freeware and better than paint.net by far. so go for GIMP and its closer to photoshop and features alot more tools.
