i can't seem to make it go wider than taller with ifranview. When I click on resize image and do the width it changes the height aswell.

Was the "preserve aspect ratio" button checked? because thats your problem.

And were is that.

Looks great, hopefully we'll be up and running in no time...working out some photoshop details, then we'll start launching all the articles, features and of course the Gallery. Nice to see everyone getting ready to put this machine in motion.  :)

Aspect Ratio....untick the box, and enter your required size....width and height...!

But one cog might not be and thats me hopefully I will be ready if this thick cast thing can come of my arm.

After doing it it wont work its 500 wide and 200 height and it isn't showing.

Listen to Foz. While you're about it you might like to correct the spelling. Its has no apostrophe in this context.

I've done what he said. And it dosn't show when I put it on my sig. and it is in the size limit.

This is the same problem we had with your avatar. The file you uploaded is corrupt. I have no idea what you're doing wrong. Try doing it again & make sure you save it in JPEG format.
