Two for a View

What's your take on these?  :) What would you have done to make them better shots?







P.S. New contests (Beautify the Beast, Create SimV's new Wallpaper) coming  up shortly. I've been ridiculously busy this week and haven't had time to set them up as yet.  :)

1st pic - it's good, only problem with it would have to be the land / water. Although the terrain is good, the textures are relatively 'normal' and the mountains look like hills (must be FS9 default ). Also, the water seems too dark and brings the whole look of the ground to be dark - perhaps if you advanced the time by 10 / 20 minutes or so and got a good golden shimmer in the sea (assuming this is dawn) and brighten up the bottom of the pic.

2nd pic - now that is cool!! One suggestion though - although the current angle is indeed fine for this image, perhaps if you played around with recorder a bit, you could find an even more interesting angle
