I can not upload !

Could someone tell me how to uplaod please, I can upload my picture ok but the text file which i have tried in bothe Wordpad and Notepad wont upload I just get a message saying "The filename is not legal. Use another format.

text file!? why are you uploading text files?
You upload the images, copy the URL you are given and then paste that URL into your message that youre typing in your reply/new thread
