Gallery Entry Qualification: 80% Too Tough?

Now that we've had a couple of weeks to get a feel of the voting for Gallery entry, I thought we should have another look at the entry criteria. 1 pic (Banana Bob) has made it since voting began in earnest out of around 25 or so entries. Is the 80% yes too tough? Keep in mind as well that only 2 pics can enter the Gallery per week. Vote above and let's hear what you think..

my vote went to leave it as it is...
why? because the gallery as to show the top of the top...
and a shot as to be damn good to enter it.
if only one shot made it, may be it's because it was the only one worse. (sorry for the others...)

another point: people are trying hard to enter shots to the gallery when they don't even submit them to their own portfolio...it doesn't really make sense to me, but I may be wrong...

I vote for 75% only because my first attempt fell short by 3.6%, when considering that i had 26 yes votes and 8 no votes, just one more yes may have taken me through....

However, you would not hear me complain if it is kept at 80%

It should be kept this tough to maintian standard as thebrelon said. Only the cream of the crop should enter.
