If you have an idea on how we should select pics that go into our Gallery, let's hear about it. The original "selection committee" idea didn't work out, so what do you think? A poll for each submitted request requiring 50 yes votes within a pre-detemined time frame? We need your ideas..

hey clip,

look at the 2 threads "for the gallery"... isn't it the best way to do? one makes suggestions, the others reply saying if they feel like the shots should be in the galery or not, if we reach a "majority" of favorable opinions, then ...

it would also be fair that one can't make sugestions for his own work. which means that someonelse have to recognise your work as valuable...as we are not always objective regarding our own work...

and we already have the portfolio for that purpose

Every week, post a ton of shots from now and the past and do a poll. The 2 or 3 or whatever that get the most votes go into the gallery.

How to choose? Ask for nominations, make up the numbers with your own choices if people can't be bothered :D

I agree that we should nominate other people's shots.

I think one should be able to nominate ones own shot. After that there could also be a voting round... however I would let the voting last for about a week or something..

While were on the nominating other part..
