Can you tell which one of these shots was edited and which is the "raw" shot? Any guesses as to what processes I used to edit the pic?

This one?

Or did I edit this one?

High Flight Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared

I'd say the second one, as it's lighter, and slightly grainier than the first. You probably used "auto levels" or "auto contrast", or perhaps you went in and manually edited the levels/contrast. Assuming you even used Photoshop, that is.

2nd one, along with the contrast and stuff it also looks like you've sharpened the picture.

Hmmm ... I'd say the first one to get rid of the effects of compression in the second.

The answer is actually pic #2 is the edit. It's a very simple process used with Irfanview. Here's two screenshot examples of how to get to the color enhancement features of Irfanview. Try it, you'd be amazed at what a difference you can make in a pic with such a relatively simple image processor such as Irfanview. Just remember..if you do use this process, your pics belong in the Edited forum (or here at the Studio of course).  :)

Either way, it's a wacky approach. :)
