It's a nice shot, but for me the plane is just a tad small, and the clouds in the background look a bit flat, especially top left.

I disagree about the background, I think they suit the mood of the picture, however I would have to say that as krigl it would benefit from the plane being larger, as it appears to be the main subject to look at.

hi nemo.,
from my point of view.... I would go closer to the spit with the same angle, to make her filing the picture, and then change the clouds, but this is personal, as I don't like this clouds, from FSskyworld I guess.
to me, they are just too unreallistic, too dense, or solid. not enough subtle... they look like painted clouds.
may be a lower layer of clouds over which the spit would be by few hundreds feet, then a higher layer, which would leave some blue sky appearing between them two...
and more AA...
my two cents...

Too much foreground for me. It is nice to see the clouds but I like to see more of the subject!

I like this one just the way it is--it looks like a snapshot that someone could have taken at an airshow! However, I would have boosted the sim's resolution in order to smooth out the saw-toothed wings. It appears as though the AA is already on or else the jaggies would be worse.

I think overall the pic is well balanced. The thing that I would have tried to improve on is the "drama" or "excitement" element. The shot is nice to look at, but would probably become more captivating and effective with a bit of a bank angle, or maybe a little more dramatic coloring in the sky. I also try to avoid small individual puffy clouds whenever possible. (top right corner) I find these small clumps of Cumulus are by far the most unrealistic looking. The lighting and reflect are really nice, although there is a bit of a yellow tinge to the sky and aircraft...maybe changing the time of day very slightly would eliminate that issue.
