I thought we could kick off the week-end with an investigation into what aircraft models you feel fall into the "photogenic" category. There are several highly detailed and superbly modelled planes (helicopters)out there waiting to grace and enhance anyone's screenshots. I think this collection would be particularly handy when choosing an aircraft for any of our upcoming screenshot contests. So don't be shy, let's see what you can come up with. Post a pic or two of your favourite detailed aircraft...I'm at work but when I get home this evening I know just which two I'm going to post.....

Screenshots will follow later
Planes that need specific scenery for the best effect
An-24RV (v2 has a nice VC too)
Tu-114 (VC alone is worth screenshots)
Il-62M (get the Domodedovo repaint)

Actually I think one of the most photogenic planes in fs is the default C-172 in eithere the avalon or the Sekiu paintscheme..
I think that is THE most importanty thing... a proper or really good paintscheme..
I rather Like Ito's lightning..
Also everything which is fully modeled in VC mode is great..
So: Kirks' F-16D series
F-86
Mirage F1
David garwoods Dragon rapide

Ivan and Soui, some excellent choices. I think this baby deserves some credit as well...Alpha Ciel's Vought Corsair..
The engine detailing is incredible, will help show off anyones screenshots in a big way..always good for a close up pic or two..
Here's another combination I think anyone could have a ball (of lightning) with in creating a dramatic screenie..
It's the Bell47 Metal with a brand new lightning package called "'Thunder and Lightning Reality2"...pm me for the links to any one of these eye catchers if interested..

My fav photogenic model is DEFNITELY Team FSKBT's F-18. Daisuke and team did such a great job on this model.
.jpg)
And may I also suggest that in order to keep below the 500k per post limit that we post links to pics instead of the pics themselves? (We're already up to about 200K) If not use really small or poor quality thumbnails since this list might get prettttttyyy long....

Agreed Mouse, why not thumbnails in the 10-30k range..or just list them as you suggest..

Project Tupolev's Tu-154. It's got a truly payware-quality exterior model, and the VC's no slouch either.
Anything by Samdim Design, some truly amazing models.
Veneaviones' Turbo Commander, very slick craft.
Anything by Kirk Olsson/Milton Shupe/Alpha Bleu Ciel/Erick Cantu/POSKY.
Team FS KBT's B-52. Seldom seen, but it has an unbelievably pretty exterior model that just begs to be photographed.
Those are just a few off the top of my head.

The KBT F-18 is very photogenic indeed but only in the warhawks scheme..
The aero commanders both turbo and not ( commanders) are photogenic indeed!
Another one i'd like to mention is the Coral F-15v2 especially with the specialized Japanese af anniversary textures..
For choppers I'd recommend the Bell 412 from hovercontrol.
Also let's not forget the new AH hurricane package..

Out of all the most realistic paints out there, I would have to say that Ed Cox's Posky 767-200, in the AA paint is stunning. Seriously detailed.
Cheers,
Alex
