Note...the main contest rules say the image has to be made for the contest...this was, and I'm recycling it now ;)

And my Team X entry, a classic 'Anxyous' :D

Image

4096 water, Snow Dog Tours scenery and default Goose :)

I was thinking, perhaps shots should be anonymous for the next round, so the judges won't know what sim they're looking at either? :)

But we would need to know what team they're on.

Shane would collect all shots, and post them in a single post. They would be numbered, and he would know which shots were of which sim :)

Who gives a rip if REX for FS9 isn't released? Payware should be allowed anyways.

FS9 in all it's glory.

As for REX making FSX look unstoppable don't forget that Active sky ground environment and flight environment can enhance FS9 so I would say the competition is rather even.

My REX claim is with the Water only, personally, I still think the REX skies look weird, but the water looks spectacular. Which is also what this theme is centered around. Until they release REXFS9, I don't know of any water replacer for FS9 that looks that good. Really tips the scales for this one, as for everything else, I think there is a great balance between the two sims and their payware/freeware addons.

The original Xvs9 allowed no payware at all for all 5 themes, so I think skipping just one this time around isn't asking too much. Maybe this is why they didn't allow it back then. ;D

As for anonymous entries, if I can tell the difference in the sim, then surely others can.  FSX and FS9 look so different, I don't see how they could be mistaken for each other. ;)
