Hmmm, looks like this comp's as dead as a dodo. 223 views, no new nominations since last time I looked....

We don't reach 80, we will do something comp-like with the existing nominations this month - people's effort to participate is appreciated and will not be abandoned - ... and then close this mother down. If people have to be cajoled or whipped into nominating there isn't really much point to it

It's sad, and I'm still hoping for more reactions, but I have to agree that lately the entire forum seems a bit...slow..
the last 'rate it' post I made got just one reaction, which isn't a lot.
Same is true for the other forums. My thing is payware, but there are few people that regularly post replies. Two replies to a post is a lot already..
which is all a bit sad, as I love FS and its screenshots, and am often amazed by the quality of shots produced. If only all my shots were that good, I still have to win  a single competition... on the other hand, my interest is more in repainting, and as long as people are happy with those...
Anyway, it would be sad if you'd have to stop this comp, but very understandable, unfortunately...

I fell for you Jankees, I know how it is to have nice shots but still never win. But yeah, I wish my shots were of the quality of most of the shots here, there are some insane ones, I quite like yours Jankees, always have.

Simple little "[Link] - Me - E" For edits, just so there's no confusion. Nice shots by the way. Everyone! Some really nice shots comin' in! Keep 'em up!

It would be sad to see this comp disappear, especially as over 100 people voted last month.

Perhaps a small change in the rules might help?

Okay - I'd really like to see this competition continue.... so I've changed the rules.

Now it's still your best 3, plus an UNLIMITED amount of other people's shots. That way those people who are into the comp can choose at will  :)
