Mini-comp idea: Planes of Fame

I've been doing a little bit of thinking about this and have come down to this simple idea:

A judge will choose an aircraft that was/is rather well known, and the competitors, being anyone who wishes to compete, try their best to recreate what, in their minds, made that plane famous, in the form of a screenshot. If the plane is, in your eyes, not famous enough, then what would you do to make it famous?

It's a simple idea, but it could probably be built up into something cool. 8-)

I don't think warbirds get all the fame in this one. There are props, and commercial jets that are quite famous too ex. the Pan Am 747 Clipper.

This one could be used for pretty much any plane, Ash.

And a new idea: if the plane is not famous enough for you, MAKE it famous.

I think it's a great idea. Let's wait a couple of weeks though, as we have a ton of competitions going already. We've already put Weekend Competition and Ultimate Battles on the back burners until Screenart Wars is over. I think it'd be a great topic for the first Weekend Comp when Wars is over. Agree?  :)

Agree. Once all this other stuff dies down, then we can think about it for a full-time comp. So who'll inaugurate this weekend comp?
