After recording each craft separately, you can open multiple recordings by selecting them in the Play as Traffic Dialog box... just use "Ctrl"+Click to pick the ones you want...
The issue with the aircraft recordings changing to the model currently in use should have been fixed in the latest version of Recorder I believe; If not someone shall correct me...
Hope this helps...

Hi, I don't have the newest version of recorder, but the trick with the old one for getting different planes is to have your plane the same as you want the ai one to be, start recorder replay, then change your own plane for what you want. Both planes are then different.

My favourite trick with recorder is to record the 'target' slewed so it remains stationary for several minutes. Then you can position your plane wherever you want using slew, and hey presto, stress free formation shots  :D

You can also use your plane in slew like a camera to get great off centre shots and crazy angles on the 'target' as a freeware alternative to Walk and Follow, but it's a bit cumbersome. I'd rather spend the money on W+F and keep my hair from going prematurely grey.
If you're bored of an evening - and you'll have to be - you can check out my screenshot gallery: Kriglsflightsimscreens...HERE
