Mees' Screenshot Shop:Getting the Quality Back Pt2

Postby Mees » Sun Dec 31, 2006 4:35 pm

Here we continue, with one of the trickiest parts of the screenshot, saving it under 100KB, here we go.
Image

Now we continue to the size screen:

In Photoshop you can't save it at exacly 100KB, but you can get very near it.

It says '~140.34K', so that's too much, we put the slider at 8.
Image

It now says '~83.28K', take it easy on that one, because the final screenshot is 94KB, so still nicely under 100KB.

Here is the screenshot we've prepared to be posted on the V, resized, sharpened, and coloured :D

Hope this workshop was helpful, good luck and enjoy!!! :D

Cheers,

Mees

Photoshop, right?

Just use 'Save for Web' then resize and change the quality so that it reads just under 100K.  Works wonders for me ;)

as jake said save to web is a much easier way of keeping within the 100kb limit, i think MR posed a tut on it
