I thought we should try something new for qualifying our pics for the gallery. It may be a way to eliminate the polls and still ensure only the "finest of the finest" screenart makes it in. Here's what I suggest. You enter a pic by titleing your thread Gallery Submission. If you like, put a title on your entry to help express and dramatize the pic. Then, we have the same approval rate we use now: 80% yes comments based on a minimum of 25 comments. The difference is if you want to "vote" for the pic either yes or no, you just put a reply comment in the thread with your opinion. For example, you'd write in the thread reply: I think your pic is great, perfect sky, great colors, I definately say yes. Then, when the submitted screenshot has a minimum of 25 responses it qualifies. Now it's just a matter of the pic receiving 80% positive replies. I think this system will encourage everyone to post a comment about the submitted pic and should bring a lot of positive and constructive criticism to the table. If the pic is mediocre, the lack of responses will be a sure indication it didn't merit Gallery consideration in the first place. So, tell me what you think of this system and here's a trial pic we can experiment with..
