The last is the best IMO.

IMO, there's not much contrast. Try a different paint. I like the first one though.

I chose that paint because it was gray.  I wanted it to be almost black and white, but im not sure if I pulled that off too well.

Immelman, I see what you're trying to create in these B+W style pics, but you may have been caught in between. I mean... the background is foggy, ghostly in a way which adds a great feel to your pics, but then we're looking at a crystal clear, crisp aircraft. It's almost like looking at two styles in the same pic. They work well individually..the beautiful aircraft in solid action perspectives for one and then the misty, foggy almost dream-like weather and background scenery for the other. But they may need to somehow be blended to-gether to help with the visual realism of these pics. Great effort, it would be great to see you try these (or similar) screenshots again with a bit more scenery/weather/aircraft harmony.  :)

those are nice pics but...
1 I don't like this spit, the winglets are awfull. and it looks like a plastic model...
2 for the 2 first the angle and the positoin of the spit in the pic are really strange, it suggest some sort of action but because of the background I can't "understand" the pics. I mean that I don't know what is going on, and what did you try to show us...
3 the 3rd pc is interresting, but if you want to give the feeling of speed avoid shoting from the profile. try at least a 3/4 forward or back....

great effort anyway... I've seen better shots from you, I like your songbird entry, beauty....
