Hey all
Can you guys please give me suggestions on how to improve my shots? I think they're already great, but not Contest Winners.

Any advice given is Welcome!

Again, all critisism is welcome!

EDIT: The resolution is strange, since I cropped slightly to get the weather updates gone.

hi piston,

first keep on using cathay pacific aircraft!!! you're sure I will vote for you that way... ;) ;)

then, I have probably read eno's lighting tutorial...

on the first shot, there is not enough light on the A/C, either switching on the landing lights or changing the time of the day would have helped.
exactly the oposite on the 4th shot, too much light, plus the long building shadows, which I find very disturbing.

the 2nd shot angle is a bit weird, imo. and too dark as a whole. there is no highlight. a flat shot.

I like all of them, the 1st and 3rd more than the others. the 3rd shot is well balanced, the only thing to change would be the horizon line, it's better placed in the 1st or 2nd third of the picture. but not in the middle. that's a tip coming from photography.
in the 1st shot you can feel the action...

the clouds are nice.

good shots as a whole.
that my very own opinion, others may disagree, and I'm not expert...

The only think I can think of is to give alittle more lead room, put more spacing between the nose of the aircraft and the border, makes it look alittle nicer ;)

I personally think that 2nd shot is brilliant, would be near perfect if the houses on the ground weren't glowing in a radioactive sorta way, but thats the simulator's limitations, not yours ;)
