Your 1st shot brought some memories back....
When we flew the DC3/DAK/C47 solo empty and usually going back to maintenance
I found flying it from the right seat much easier
Landing Gear Handles and Flap Handle (yes metal bars) along with ski were all right on the left side of the co-pilots (right seat) side
The Cowl Flaps Controls (2) were on the starboard side of the cockpit about elbow or shoulder height
(a pain to get at from port seat, even the landing gear handles and flaps were a pain to reach from port seat)
