hello everyone... <<q
the work for the DC-3 /C-47 / C-117D (and the basler, which I previously showed) is FINISHED.

I put together almost 4GB of textures... and I managed to get 9 different textures... in some cases the modification is almost complete (the base is not recognized)... actually I almost stayed with 8, but I decided to make an exception and I got stay with 9.

I wanted each texture to be VERY different from each other, that's why there are:
- one polished metal (the classic dc-3 silver... but with many unique markings)
-tree blue, (one very silver, another with white, and the 3rd with blue on the nose (so that it can be seen in the VC)
-two reds (one ex-military gray red with many markings, the other orange with black and details)
-a very white one, almost fresh from the factory and freshly washed,
-one that gives you "flashbacks".....
-and finally a gray one with ribbons...but worn.
total: nine liveries, four of them use the "without antennas, with beacon lights" model (which comes with the model), the others use the "with antennas" model (which also comes with the model)

to ALL liveries I added the following:

-common interior
-vc with a logo (I did it for the basler, the C-117D, and obviously here too)
-the same red and black ladder.
-Darker wheels, with clear rims, and dark interior (so they look freshly washed, or left the factory)
-safety marks (red or yellow "danger", "propeller, "exit" marks, etc.)
and more details that I no longer remember...

the most important addition:
I knew that for Prepar3D there was a spectacularly detailed "BUMP" (bump files give "relief" to a surface, usually used to give details of rivets, edges of surfaces). I added it to the nine liveries the result is spectacular.

here you can see the LOGO ( DC-3/C-47 )....and the new bump (note the rivets)

now yes, the first livery is:

the polished metal.
In addition to all the additions that I mentioned above (wheels, stairs, bumps, safety marks, etc.) I added:
-anti-reflective matte black paint on the nose
-anti-reflective matt black paint on the sides of the engines (I love it!!!)
-VERY silver propellers, with matt black edges, and with white-red ribbons (only the metal shines...the little drawings don't)
-exhausts without gloss (they are matte, it is a common error in many textures, the exhaust shines)
-matt black wing edges and rudders,
-dark cylinders, the "ring" of the propeller shaft is silver, and the base "cone" of the propeller is black (my idea is to highlight the shaft of the propeller, and the "ring")
-and a matt black base to walk on the wings, next to the fuel tanks.

Enough talk...here are the photos: :D
(for the next PART 3, there will be photos of at least 4 liveries)
greetings <<v <<v
