737-700 TFP test flight program

Postby Delta Tango Nine Two » Fri Jul 15, 2022 10:12 pm

"an old retired pilot, walking through the desert, saw in the junkyard in the desert....planes without owners, from former airlines, faded, rusty,....asking for one last flight....he bought the fuselages, he recondition them, revive them... and take them out for a walk"

The test flight program consisted of countless hours of:
-make a plane "appear out of nowhere" in a place far away from the public (absolute secret)
-try some systems and textures...
-"change planes"...and minimize the simulator...
-"make the necessary changes" to the plane, texture or system..
-"return to the simulator" and "choose the plane to test again"....
-...so until everything is repaired, corrected, and reconditioned....

of course... these strange test events could only be done at AREA 51... late at night... not even the most senior staff on the base (what the weirdest things have seen) He could believe his eyes: a plane appeared and disappeared... it changed shape for another plane... it paused reality... and then it reappeared modified....

For the last test flight of the program... the old pilot dressed in "high visibility" orange (and a parachute just in case) made the following test flight:

-make the 737-700 plane appear out of nowhere at KLAX in the afternoon
-turn on aircraft systems
-take off from KLAX (los angeles)
-ascend to 15,000 feet. maintain 15,000 feet
-fly in the direction of the sea for 15 minutes
-test the navigation systems, screens, radios, backup indicators, "textures" (it's absolutely classified...not even anyone in area 51 knows what that is).."sounds"...and a long etc of some things that break reality...such as changing external appearance (change of liveries)
-make the plane turn day into night in an instant and try more "textures" (no one has ever seen a plane do this)
-turn night into day again (afternoon)
-at 15,000 feet enter controlled STALL
-at 15,000 feet exceed the speed limit (overspeed)
-activate the autopilot in all its modes
-turn right and descend to 8,000 feet
-stabilize at 8,000 feet and fly 10 minutes
-turn towards KLAX and descend to 3,500 feet
-call the atc and ask for a landing authorization (whatever the atc wants)
-activate ILS navigation
...and make an ILS landing

I forgot to add that when I returned the weather changed to low visibility (you didn't see anything until you were close to landing)
and at sunset the sun hid behind the mountains.

Here are the photos of this top secret project:

good afternoon... and thank you very much for answering... :D

this thread is just a part of my project
This project is still "on hold"... but I'm still working on it. (Still today)
(as I said in various threads about this project...it is a FUSION of many improvements, panels, etc...etc from various owners...and therefore requires approval from its creators) (it still has unresolved bugs)
Here you can see the development:
https://forums.simviation.com/phpBB3/vi ... 1&t=181561

but you should keep in mind that I am AT THE SAME TIME in other projects
-the A319 (of which I haven't published anything yet... but it's ALMOST finished, it's the same as the "737 project"... but in this case, the model is so good, that I only dedicate myself to textures) (I'm very impatient to show pictures)

the T-6A TEXAN II (a complete rework of textures, etc..etc)
(and also the PC-9... but much less complete)
https://forums.simviation.com/phpBB3/vi ... 2&t=181543
and...
https://forums.simviation.com/phpBB3/vi ... 1&t=181758

-the basler bt-67 (modified textures)
-DC-3/C-47 (modified textures)
-C-117D (modified textures)
(DOUGLAS FORCE....the three about to show photos... today or tomorrow afternoon ALMOST COMPLETED)

I also made a (only private) texture for the EXCELLENT FOKKER F-27 freeware from Gaurant
https://forums.simviation.com/phpBB3/vi ... 2&t=181597
(unfortunately it's little known for anyone to make textures...I just do what I can) (on another page I found a finnair texture...I hope I can modify it to make it an "ex airliner" version)

I also made textures for the cessna flysimware 182k freeware (yes!! it's free now), and the basler bt-67
https://simviation.com/1/search?submit= ... wo&x=0&y=0

I also remodified "private owner" textures for the restauravia morane paris

It is also in mind to modify textures for dino cattaneo's S-211 (a BEAUTIFUL model   , but that almost nobody knows about)

My idea was always that each texture had its "personality", a story, an owner... that's why I usually put logos or patches in the cockpit (see the logo on the f-27 cockpit, or the one on the basler bt-67)

TODAY my priority is the dc-3/basler bt-67/c-117d (all three)
then I move on to the Texan (which is almost finished and I'm very anxious to publish it  , at least in photos), then the s-211, the A-319 and the 737 projects.

  keep in mind that I have modified textures from other owners, I have added panels, and many files that have owners (even if they are freeware)... that's why... I'm giving priority to texture projects...
even this can cause me problems (texture projects) since some textures are practically light modifications, and some owners would not see well that I have published and modified their textures (some of them)
That's why I post photos first... then I ask if I can post it.

TODAY I PUBLIC PHOTOS OF THE BASLER BT-67 (morning of the dc-3/c-47)
bye (and sorry for such a long answer)
