Shades of "Maverik & Goose", though it's "Badger & Moose" today. :-) Am still a dreamer, thank you FS9
and to Rick Piper for his Hunting/BAC Jet Provost: https://simviation.com/1/search?submit= ... egoryId=34

This is a little game I've played since first creating it a decade or so ago. Pick a nimble, fast aircraft and get lined up
on runway 23, KBFF - Scottsbluff, Nebraska with a fair dose of variable crosswind configured and mild turbulence as well.

Image

After T.O. come to a heading of 216 degrees, flying fast & low after trimming and stabilizing once your airspeed comes up, adjusting for the crosswind that day.

Image

Hop those ridges and bluffs along the way, trim the sage and treetops with wind blast. Keep her way down low as you progress...

...keeping her under the radar for the 70 nautical mile flight...

...until finally cresting up at the outskirts of Cheyenne, Wyoming, elevation 6,000+ feet ASL. Visually locate the KCYS control tower and buzz it a good one!:

20 minutes tops if your aircraft be a quick one and you've navigated well. It's a blast in FS2004 as well as in other flight sims.

In IRL will you get fired from the the (swedish Air Force) if you try that.
It is something for the rookies who think they are going to live for ever.

As well it should. :-) The Swedish Air Force is a tight one, competent and capable.
My "flying" is almost always spent flying smoothly and legitimately, though every so often
I get this itch to fly low like an F-5E-2 pilot. Would have been a good one back in the day.

*edit*- Not the Northrup F-5E, the Lockheed: https://35prs.wordpress.com/2014/02/07/ ... lightning/

Old fun-loving flight simmers never die, we just fade off into a limitless sky full of stars and galaxies.
Glad to see you jump in, Darren, a place to meet a lot of friends you never knew you had.
