After literally hundreds of hours working out texture saturation levels and sim transitions, am happy to announce that the package is getting very close to release. Have already posted early thumbnail comparisons here: https://forums.simviation.com/phpBB3/vi ... 2&t=179157 , though it's quite difficult to see the variance with all days days while viewing such small images. Therefore, what follows may give you a bit better idea the differences between all 10 daily-rotating sim textures.

Have chosen to use Mr. Milton Shupe's wonderful hand-flyer, the Spartan, to help illustrate these screenshots. Beginning with precisely 10 minutes after Sun breaks the horizon at dawn each of the days, 50 miles visibility, each sky set contains subtle but very real variances that should help to freshen up your FS2004...

Next, small shots illustrating Noon for each of the 10 days, again at 50 miles visibilty. These small images will all appear about the same initially,
though if you will download each one and slideshow all 10 in order then you will readily see the differences in each day...

Finally, 10 screenshots of precisely 10 minutes before Sun is setting each of the days at (your guessed it) 50 miles visibility...

In viewing all 30 of my original full-size screenshots here the differences between each day are striking. Hopefully you will now at have a good hint of what these newly designed FREEWARE sky textures will do for your FS2004. As soon as the ReadMe and ReadMe2 are fully written then the package will be be ready for uploading here at Simviation, and it's my hope is that you will enjoy these new Serene Skies.
