how about this original jet? :mrgreen: ....someone sure had the right idea....look at the ducted fan flying models flying around today....super fast....

It reminds me of a coke can and it has a prop, Caproni made a few weird looking aircraft the Ca 60 Noviplano or Capronissimo.

this is my favorite ww-1 aircraft....guess it was kinda slow, but my guess is that it was only because of the motor.......Image
and the nieuport 24 ain't bad either......Image

Nice but I like the Roland Roland D.VI better.

yep my favorite too....very close to the albatros dva...not sure which i like better...the roland is very well done.....Image

sorry about the red script...was in a rush.....come to think of it...i'll have to do some research to find out the difference between the rolland and the albatros dva.....aside from the covered engine, i never realized that they looked so much alike......
by the way dave....the caproni ca60 was amazing....just found this flying model video...
