This is the aircraft that our Sen. John McCain was shot down in in Vietnam. May God be with him as he fights his brain cancer.Truly a Maverick from the great state of Arizona. He was tortured so badly he can't raise his arms above his shoulders and has to have someone to comb his hair. A true America hero!!! Roy

Senator John McCain NEVER flew an F4 Phantom. His mount was a Douglas A4 SkyHawk, a smaller single engine fighter. Prior to being shot down over North Viet Nam he flew from the USS Forrestal and was directly involved with the deadly fire which caused significant loss of life. While Sen McCain was a POW not all of his fellow prisoners shared your opinion of his conduct. I do not want to throw rocks at a former POW and US Senator, but suggest you google the subject and learn for yourself.

Sorry for the mistake I got the wrong F-4 as for the other I had not ever heard that about his fellow prison mates. Thanks for the correction my 80 y/o brain aint what it us to be. Respectively Roy I guess the hero part is a matter of opinion, the people of Arizona seem to like him for sure.
