A Flying Pirate Ship You Say

Postby Flying Trucker » Mon May 07, 2018 12:11 pm

Good afternoon all... <<q

Practicing some Touch and Goes with a new downloaded simulated aircraft...

Microsoft Windows 10 Home and FSX Deluxe + Acceleration
Orbx Scenery and Weather Theme
Aircraft: Douglas DC-3s/C117 by David Robles called "The Black Pearl"...
Nope not the Pirate Ship off the Movies "Pirates of the Caribbean"
Only a few of these conversions built I believe but certainly a nice cockpit for Instrument Approaches
AND
Available Right Here as Freeware Off Our Simviation Download Site...How I missed this one I don't know...thanks Jim for posting yours...
Yes there are several other Textures

Time: Early Dawn....Season: Spring

Microsoft FSX Default Douglas DC3 on Downwind

This Cockpit is more familiar to me...
Starboard Side...right of co-pilots control yoke...Red (Port Engine) and Green (Starboard Engine) Controls to Open or Trail the Cowl Flaps
Don't see these on the DC-3s/C117 so I use the Buttons on my Control Yoke/Stick but the Keyboard can also be used

Comments and Advice most welcome... ;)
Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Hi Folks

Just to let you know I hit the wrong key in the original post...

The excellent simulated aircraft was done by:
David Robies
Not David Robles

My apologies for the typing error... <<q
