Very cool repaint. I'm still praying that one day someone will do a FSX native version of that SP model.
What do you use to repaint?
Posky made some really really great high detail aircraft.

What do I use for re'paints ,,,,,,,

Usually I use DXTBMP coupled with my Paint Shop #9 is about it usually.

in this instance, I had to use PAINT.NET to paste the PNG format Logo on the sides of the plane.

PAINT.NET is good for pasting LOGO's of a PNG style logo on sides of files, whatever it may be or other photos.

Would be great if someone updated the model to fsx and we could alias a 707 cockpit into it.

So many people have already "BUTCHERED" these SP Models of the Posky 747 , its pathetic ~ !

They've got the wrong Wing Textures on certain models

Wrong Cargo Containers in models

Wrong style Engine Nacelles on the engines

Wrong Style Wheels on different paint variants

Wrong Effects coupled to the Aircraft CFG Files

Aircraft CFG Files a mess, unorganized , disorganized and messy !

I started about a year ago, grabbing all the Posky 747SP's (Special Performance) from every web site , and gathering them all up, then dissecting them to see what was in them , only to discover all kinds of Butchery that's taken place thru the years since they were originally released.

Taken me about 8 months in my spare time to straighten them out , when I had time and get them somewhat corrected worthwhile.

The only 2 actual Choices for an actual VC / Virtual Cockpit in these models would be :

FSX Default 747-400 Cockpit

the CLS 747-200 Cockpit which is an older Payware model

The model file would then have to be properly re'compiled for it to work properly.

I've seen SP Models that the wheels and gear sunk into the ground , did wheelies, , didn't move at all, wrong wing texture file names in the folders etc.

These POSKY 747SP models rolled out with 2 different Engine types :

The Pratt Whitney PW-JT9D-7R4G2

and

Rolls Royce / RR-RB-211-524C2

You'd be surprised how many didn't pay attention to those details and put the "Wrong Engine texture files" in the wrong model variant's

Just getting the original POSKY Ground Services in Correct working order was a chore, as more than 3/4 of the downloads were missing much of the proper correct textures and correct CFG PANEL Edits to make them work properly.

Watch Out for my lengthy YOU TUBE Video on these sometime soon.

According to my "Big GREEN" Crystal Ball :D

the 747SP / Special Performance can accommodate :

747SP Specifications: The Boeing 747SP is a four-engined long-range widebody airliner, with a capacity of "maximum 313 Drunk, Awnry, Leprechauns " in a partial double deck
