Each time you on flight mission, you find yourself filled blend with excited and apprehensive. Adding to the tension is the knowledge that no two hurricanes are alike. Some are gentle while others are like raging bulls.
The ENORMOUS POWER OF MOTHER NATURE.
Most pilots try to avoid flying an airplane into severe weather, but not with these twin sister (the NOAA Hurricane Hunters) crew.....flying hurricane research and reconnaissance missions is a routine basis.
These twins sister (the NOAA Hurricane Hunters) crew...are one of this rare bird.
The missions for flying into hurricane must be preparations thorough. With specially equipped aircraft directly into the eye of the storm to collect crucial data that helps protects lives and property.
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning how to dance in the rain
Rise above the storm and you will find the sunshine.
