WOWZERS!.... :o ....!

The title; "Summertime in FSX" got me all excited!... ...!

I thought, at last, someone has finally found out how to produce proper Summer effects in the Sim!

Like brilliant, bright blue sky, bright yellow cornfields etc, bright green and yellow grass, bright yellow rocks and sand, and bright green and yellow foliage, trees etc....
...the whole bright effect that one sees outside on a beautiful mid-Summer day!

I have tried adjusting my graphic and monitor settings to reproduce the effect, without any luck....
..the FSX scenery always looks dull and drab at any time of the year!

There seems to be no practical way of reproducing "real" seasonal effects into the FSX ground scenery; Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.

The best overall effect I ever managed to obtain was/is Freeware; "Vista Australia: VOZ 1.8 Switcher" for FS 2002 and FS 2004.

That modified the default scenery effects based on a particular area in the World; Rain Forests, Desert, Farmland, etc, that you were flying in.

A wonderful free program for FS 2002 and FS 2004.
For all those who remember it...>>> http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/fil ... -complete/
It was always a shame that it was never reproduced for FSX!

Most/all of my flights are carried out on a beautiful, clear sky, Mid-Summer's day, at Mid-Day, in glorious sunshine... ....
.....and the scenery all around me always looks dull, drab, dark, and uninspiring!..... ...!

One of the major, depressing FSX faults for my daily low and slow Sim Flights!

I need/want BRIGHTER SCENERY!....Like the real stuff, to make me squint my eyes, and put my "shades" on!.... ...!

Paul....in a hot, summery, sunshine mood!.... ...!
