Every time I see those Cali views, I fire up my You-Tube, locate the place, select a Harley-Davidson Street Glide, and watch a Bike video touring there at ground level!

Fascinating shots!

Paul..... ...!

What is the name of that aircraft and where did you download it from, is it freeware or payware? Thanks

SS-4P Sus Scrofa Cannoli Volanti kitplane. I think the texture in the screenies is custom, though.

Hi Guys.
I'd like to thank Pilotwin7 for bringing this fantastic little AC to my attention, Boikat for the link and most of all Tim Conrad for the little Beauty.
I can't believe the actual AC is a Kit Plane! It seems so sophisticated.
Pilot, if you feel like uploading your custom texture I'd love it.

Many thanks Guys.

Zaphod

I flew this little beauty from DFW_OKC/Will Rogers. Operates nicely once I put the ap on. It was very lite an the controls And a bugger in a cross wind landing due to a high and wide tail configuration. I could not find the panel on this ac but radios and ap plus gps was able to make a decent landing. Hard to believe this is a kit plane as Zaphod stated very sophisticated ac. Thanks again for bring this little jewel to our attention. It was a beautiful ac for sure!!!

I have been flying the Volanti canard-pusher for a couple of years and I have really liked it. It handles like a fast powerful TurboProp and its a terrifc cross-country airplane. I am sure that those of you who download and fly it will be very pleased.

Hello Roy, the handling that you describe is very different from mine. You could go to your FSX controls settings and turn down the sensitivity etc sliders until you get it to fly like a nice solid turboprop. It should be very stable and an excellent IFR aircraft. Once you get it just right I think you will enjoy it even more. As you mentioned, on AutoPilot it is superb and along with the speed it can travel long distances very well. I would really really really like to own the real-life airplane.

*Ahem* Fictional *Ahem* :icon-wink:

I have yet to find an image on Google that isn't of the FSX SS-4P. But at least you can count that as a testimonial to the excellent quality of Tim Conrad's work!
