Naval Air Station Miramar, a sight never to be seen again. We gave the best NAVAIRSTA on the west coast to the Jarheads. :( DANG!!!

I would have liked a version of this scenery for FSX. I know a payware scenery is available and that some people have tried it using the ai from this scenery, I always liked this scenery and flying over the animated theme park to the carrier.

Whenever I see the word Miramar, the word Manzanar springs to mind...>>>

A popular stopping off place for me in my Sim Flights, near Independence on Highway 395, en-route from Lone Pine to Bishop, in Owen's Valley, California!

It shows up well in UTX USA scenery, and Plan-G map.

Alan (Viper Pilot) knows it well.

Thanks for the info Paul, Just installed Fs9 onto this laptop and keeping it stock apart from a few of my favourite aircraft and scenery. Mostly use it for my Concorde with uk2000 extreme Heathrow and ACG Duxford and Flytampa TNCM, St Bart's and Saba is always a challenge and a few MAIW scenery not forgetting Lunar Pilot for a bit of fun. I still use FS9 quite a lot but use FSX more.

Dave...This is the time of year (Winter) that I enjoy touring and exploring the South Western USA (Summer) in my trusty Cessna 150...
I can always make the weather nice and warm and cosy, and full of tall Palm Trees swaying in the breeze.

Highway 395 is always worth a trip, to admire the Sierra Nevada mountain scenery....

..and its always HOT in my Flight Sim!

Paul... ... ...!

There's a decent FSX freeware scenery by Jim Dhaenens at flightsim.com.

Now it's Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. We took over when the Navy wasn't looking. 8-)
