Remember Golden Hawaii? When I noticed the Duck for FSX in News & Hot Picks...

...I prayed the Google Godess for an FS 2004 version & Her Highness found two by Swingman (Grumman J2F5 & Grumman J2F6).

Next I configured my Golden Wings as Golden Hawaii. Since I landed on a flat bed wood deck of a derelict relic of an aircraft Carrier I found, navigating over the ocean in front of Honolulu, I saved that flight & took note of my coordinates for placing my aircraft idling on deck next time I fly. Sometimes at First try, the aircraft STARTS & iDLEs iN THiNN AiR!! & crashes on the waves: no Carrier present yet. After a lóong wait restarts a Second try, then the Carrier is present BEFORE the aircraft starts & idles.

The deck seems like a long flat photo surface card, positioned in 3D perspective. Actually, the whole Carrier seems like made of cards!! My Duck is a J2F6 of the US Navy, the "Candy Clipper"

Bipes have very short take off distance, with better (or smoother, more stable) high manouverability at low speed

I don't know if it is the same for fs9 but in fsx if you want to save a flight on a carrier you save your flight and then go to the FLT file and go to [SimVars.0] and change SimOnGround=True to False as below otherwise the aircraft will not start on the carrier and will be shown in the air.
SimOnGround=False
