Peacemaker

Postby Dave T » Fri Nov 13, 2015 11:53 am

Convair B-36H Peacemaker by Kazunori Ito needs a long runway to get airborne and a wingspan of 230 ft (70.1 m).
Take off from Fort Worth Nas Jrb just got airborne before the runway ranout "six turning, four burning"

Crew Humour "two turning, two burning, two smoking, two choking, and two more unaccounted for." Maitenance changing 336 spark plugs. Another frequent maintenance job was replacing the dozens of bomb bay light bulbs, which routinely shattered during test firing of the ball turret guns sounds like fun and a 40hr flight endurance.

Dave... ;) ...!

...are you remembering to enable; "Aircraft and Objects cast shadows", in your screen shots?

Without enabling "shadows", it is impossible to tell how far the objects are from the ground (floating in the air)... :? ....!

I suspect that my little Cessna 150 would fit comfortably in that bomb bay!.... ....!

Paul...a very shadowy creature.......!

Another good one. :D

I saw one of those on an Air Force base. It was used for avionics training.

VERY big hardly describes it.

I'm almost 100% sure that it had supports under the wings to relieve the stress as it sat there.
