Set off from YSSY t o look for the HMS Victorious which can be anywhere between Sydney and Brisbane.

Sunrise and still no sign of the carrier

Empty water 300 miles later still no sign of the carrier

Getting close to Brisbane and there it is 400ish miles later

approaching the carrier

Safely down to live another day that plane looks a bit precarious

Thanks if you look really close you can see the fuel low pressure light on and the fuel gauge bending its stop peg. Fuel was marginal not enough for a go around when the windmill up front could quit spinning at any time.

A great set of shots, good work, picture 2 is stunning.
