Mysterious landing strip in the Aleutian Islands

A medieval landing strip, far out in the Aleutian Islands, was found by an Orbx forum member in Oh orbx, please don't fix this.

A familiar sight in my old FS 2002 and FS 2004....

Either high in the sky, or deep in the ground!

(Don't seem to get the same problems nowadays with the "meshes" in my FS 2004 and FSX!).

Here's how it looks in my "normal" copy of FSX. Airstrip OK....scenery horrible!

I once used a global scenery enhancer on a previous installation of FSX and found many airstrips and lakes at odd elevations. They just seem to stick to their original heights when the surrounding scenery is altered.

I see no coffee house, no place of bladder pressure relief, no fuel, no place to turn.

What you get will vary according to your mesh and settings.
