Optical illusion.

"The lake is located very close to the ocean, but its surface is about 30 meters above the level of sea. It is surrounded by a higher cliff which prevents it from emptying into the ocean."
But from certain angles it gives the illusion that it's MUCH higher.
This would great if the scenery was custom. But I can only find custom scenery for the airport, not the island. At least not in the quality that it deserves.
